A couple of adjustments on the recipe. I used beef mince for the pie and went for garlicky greens as a side. This is due to having fussy eaters in the house 😀 It was excellent 👍

Loving the pub grub series. It’s giving me inspiration for dishes at my own business. Next roast tomato soup and cheese and pickle toastie.

I own 2 takeaway businesses on touring caravan parks. Our main business is a fish and chip shop based between Scarborough and Filey in North Yorkshire. Our other business is similar and we offer breakfast service here as well as an evening menu and I’ve been looking at tailoring the bar menu to a pub grub style menu with quality home made food using local ingredients. This is based in Cayton just outside Scarborough.

We definitely did! Even my youngest, and pickiest, said it was yummy, and ate his whole meal, which doesn’t happen often! Thank you for the tasty recipes!
